Senate Rule Change to Allow More Judicial Confirmations

Today, the Senate changed the rule that previously required thirty hours of debate on all judicial nominees.


From now on the Senate will only have to allocate two hours of debate after the Senate agrees to a vote.


Previously, the minority used this rule to prevent the orderly confirmation of judicial nominees.
