Supreme Court Blocks National Injunctions

It is about time! The Supreme Court today took action to prevent enforcement of a so-called "National Injunction" by a single trial court judge seeking to block President Trump's assylum policy.

The Supreme Court rule 7-2 to stay enforcement - pending appeal - of the federal trial court's national injunction. Here is a link to the Supreme Court opinion and the dissent of Justice Sotomayor joined by Justice Ginsburg, and here is an article explaining more about the action.
